Kiss Daniel may not have clinched top awards this year, but the singer’s genius continues to speak for him.
Yesterday, the singer revealed the update he got from Google Trends – that his smash hit single Mama has emerged the Most Searched Nigerian song on Google for the year 2016, while his other song Jomo came in 3rd.
“MAMA” is the most searched Nigerian song on Google for the year 2016 and JOMBO came in 3rd? All thanks to the fans around the world #vadocitizens #No1song #MAMA #MOSTDOWNLOADEDSONGONNJO” he wrote
In May, the G-worldwide Star’s debut album New Era which dropped on the 14th of May, made the list of top-selling world music albums on the Billboard World Album Chart.
“#NewEra by @iamkissdaniel debuts at Number 8 on the @billboard World Album Chart billboard.com..GBAM!!! Loud it !I thank GOD, worldwide movement,” he said back then.
Now, he acknowledges fans who stood by him when he lost out at the 2015 Headies Awards. “All thanks to the fans around the world,” he says.
And fans have been flooding his post with congratulatory notes.
