It’s been a while since I put the spotlight on Ghana’s favourite Hollywood family, the K3 Brothers! This time I take a look at their royal blood!
Even though the brothers were born and raised in Los Angeles, California they are very much in touch with their heritage and by all accounts are the great grandsons of the Juaben Chieftancy on their fathers side and Jamestown chieftancy on their mothers side. Rooted in his ancestral ties, their father gave them each different last names, representing the indigenous Akan royal family tradition of taking up the family member you’re named afters whole name, its not European which makes them even more unique.
Kwame Boateng the oldest of the trio is 24 years old is
and one of Hollywood’s top tier young actors, tastemaker, influencer, entrepreneur and a brand curator sought after by many. Kwame owns a brand marketing firm,
The Boateng Group whose International clients allow him to grow his footprints as a CEO. Kwame has been seen on numerous hit television shows such as The Office, Everybody Hates Chris and many more. Recently
Boateng created, co-wrote and produced the highly anticipated television show “The Plug”, loosely based upon his life of a up and coming actor and nightlife king.
Kofi Siriboe is 22 years old and the middle child, he is already making waves and has Hollywood buzzing about his stand out performance as
“Flaco” in the urban coming of age story
“Kicks”, set to hit US theaters on
September 9th, 2016. Kofi also originates the
role of “Ralph Angel” in Ava Duvernay’s debut television drama series “Queen Sugar”, co-execu tive produced by Oprah Winfrey for OWN, premiering on Tuesday, September 6 & 7, 2016.
Kwesi Boakye the youngest of the brothers
at 17 years old is already considered a veteran in the industry with over a decade of impressive credits at such a young age. He first charmed America’s heart as Manny in Tyler Perry’s #1 blockbuster hit film I Can Do Bad All By Myself, since then, Kwesi
has starred in many hit television shows like TNT’s Murder In The First with Taye Diggs, Hawaii Five-O with P. Diddy and currently recurring on the USA television show “Colony”. Kwesi also voiced Cartoon Network’s Emmy Award winning show, The Amazing World of Gumball as Darwin, the iconic Looney Tunes Show as Gossamer and many more.
