Keche wins ‘Best West African Artiste Of The Year’ at PAIR-AWARDS

Multiple awards winning Ghanaian music group, Keche signed on to Ghanaian based music recording and talent management label, GEM Media (GEM Rhythm) has been officially adjudged the pre-eminent and unsurpassable Afrobeats West African music group of the year at the just ended Pan African International Recognition Awards(PAIR-AWARDS) and Annual Discourse.

This year’s edition of the awards scheme was organized at Swiss Spirit ensuite at Alisa hotel, precisely the Asante Hall. In attendance were estate developers, ambassadors of some African countries ( Sierra Leone, Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, and South African) and celebrities in the field of music , non- governmental organizations

The glittering award night and conference focused on discussion of the problem that are retarding leadership, good governance, socio- economic, political, educational, environmental, insecurity and unemployment etc. The conference spelt out measures that can be used to present and promote Africa in critical fields to attract foreign investors, curb insecurity, promote development and create jobs.

Keche is known to be one of the most consistent and versatile music groups in West Africa. Joshua is a rapper with the power of word play and Andrew is a songster with a silvery voice. The group has been relevant for the last decade and has proven to be illustrious and outstanding in year under review.

Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe make this talented, indomitable and dynamic duo. The group’s name is inspired by the deftness in their music composition and performance. “Keche” literally means skills in Akan. They are also known as the “Skill Team”. The group beat off competition from other musicians within the West African region to emerge victorious as the best West African performing arts.

The Pan African International Recognition Awards and Annual Discourse (PAIR-AWARDS) is a household name, an international event that is being held annually in different countries to discuss the challenges confronting Africa, proffer lasting solutions to those challenges, honour individuals and organizations in different categories, those who have brought notable political, socio-economic achievements etc. to the continent

The awards are considered as an outstanding award in the magazine industry, they are equivalent to any international awards globally.
