Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are burying the hatchet after their 6-year long feud.
Katy, 33 and Taylor, 28 had been best of friends until they fell out in 2012 after Taylor claimed Katy stole three of her backing dancers from her Red tour.
Yesterday however, Katy decided to be the bigger person by extending an actual olive branch to her former BFF. The olive branch was accompanied by an apology letter.
Taylor Swift happily shared a video in her Instagram stories showing the olive branch and apology letter while thanking Taylor for the gesture.
In the video Taylor made, she can be heard saying: “I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch. This means so much to me.”
Most part of the letter is hidden, but the few parts that are visible reads, “Hey Old Friend. I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us.”
Katy also wrote that she was “deeply sorry” and wanted to “clear the air” in the letter, which was in an envelope sealed with a dog sticker.
