Kanye West’s Doctor Called 911 During Breakdown

It’s been disclosed that it was Kanye West’s personal doctor that made the 911 call on Monday resulting in the rapper’s hospitalisation.

Dr. Michael Farzam had told police that his patient “Jim Jones” (referring to Kanye West) was suffering from temporary psychosis as a result of lack of sleep and dehydration. The doctor also said that his 39-year-old patient had tried to assault a staffer at his gym, according to the police report.

Although “Jones” wasn’t violent, the doctor had told police, he might become violent when help arrived. West was reportedly handcuffed to a stretcher for transport, which is apparently a part of the standard procedure during a psychiatric hold.

The rapper, who had abruptly canceled the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour was taken to UCLA Medical Center on Monday afternoon.

Kanye “is exhausted and currently dealing with sleep deprivation,” an unnamed source told reporters. “He went to the hospital at will under the advice of his physician.”
