Kanye West’s Saint Pablo Tour had a stop over in Nashville, Tennessee; the home of country music superstar Taylor Swift.
Kanye did not hesitate to perform his controversial lyric about Taylor Swift from Famous off his The Life Of Pablo album in the singer’s hometown and unsurprisingly it delighted many in the audience.
He opens the song with the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous” and stops right after the lyric to address the roaring crowd.
During his first performance of the song, Kanye directed the crowd to sing along to the lyric about Swift and when they did he asked the DJ to start the song over again saying “I need to hear that loud in Nashville, I need to hear that so loud in Nashville.“

The rapper explained “So many people told me, ‘You gotta take that line off that song. You gotta play it safe, This is what rap music is. This is what art is. Say how you feel. Well, this is how I feel”. The crowd starts chanting “F**k Taylor Swift” as Ye starts the song over.
This lyric from the song has been the cause for drama since it dropped as it was reported that Taylor Swift wasn’t happy when the song dropped.
Though Kanye claimed he got permission from her before putting the line in the song, which she refuted. Kim Kardashian West, the rapper’s wife then posted a video on Snapchat of his conversation with the country singer where he plays the song for her long before it was released and she approved the line.
