The judging panel comprises of Young Africans from across Africa and the diaspora. They will be responsible for screening the hundreds of nominations that have been submitted for the 2016 Awards.
The Jury Includes Dr. Ahmed Adamu, Aya Chebbi, Ngunan Adamu, Janerose Gatobu, Divine Kpe, Damola Morenikeji, Alvin Nyika, Ngo Bibaa Lundi Anne, Rosina Akourkor Teye, Uche Ogwu, Kelvin Macharia, and Boubakar Yougbare and they represent an esteemed collection of young Africans who have inspired other young people across the continent. The judges bring a wealth of industry knowledge and category specific skill sets to assess the 2016 Awards on behalf of the Africa Youth Awards.

Launched in 2014, the awards has become a recognised platform for young Africans to showcase what contributions they have made to the success of the continent thus far, and the potential that they possess to take Africa to the next level across various key industries.
Recently, the awards launched its inaugural list of 100 Most Influential Young Africans, which received strong endorsement from President Paul Kagame and other influential Africans, and sparked positive debates around the continent about the potential and role of young people.
