For the first time in over 27 years, international Ghanaian reggae artist cum guitarist, John Q, is back in the capital, Accra for a new project. He joined forces with two of his best Ghanaian reggae acts; Osagyefo and Knii Lante on a song titled “Congratulation”. The song produced by (Veteran), Zapp Mallet, is tipped to be a major Reggae cut to disturb global chats when released.

According to John Q, “the drive behind the song is to motive individuals who find theirselves in high positions to use their pedigree to motivate the youth, relatives, helpless people, orphans, et al who are in need and plant seed of hope and good behaviour in them for a better future. The song is loaded with thought provoking lyrics, echoes the hope of breaking through the international market and substantially putting Ghana on the globe.”

John Q being an international reggae act has recorded an album titled “Real Reggae Feel” in Tuff Gong Studio, Bob Marley’s, in Jamaica. He touched down briefly in Ghana to push one of his latest works “Dirty Dance”, a classic afrobeats jam said to be doing very well within the Latin American community and the Caribbean. He is also shooting some new music videos before flying back soon. According to him, he wants to root himself more here in Ghana while he touches base with the market abroad in USA and Europe as well.
