Hollywood actor, John Krasinski has officially been crowned the sexiest man alive 2024 by People’s magazine.
This ‘award’ has been ongoing since 1985 when Mel Gibson won it and it is seen as possibly the highest honor any male celeb could hope for.
Krasinski who is a father of two, is said to have been stunned by the news of being the sexiest man alive 2024.
The actor who spoke to People magazine, explained that he thought he was being pranked at first.
He said: “Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts.
“Other than maybe I’m being punked. That’s not how I wake up, thinking, ‘Is this the day that I’ll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?’ And yet it was the day you guys did it. You guys have really raised the bar for me.”
Kravinski is popular for playing roles such as the nice guy, paper salesman, former Marine turned CIA agent, or a devoted family man sacrificing himself for love.
He is currently married to actress Emily Blunt and they have been together for 14 years.
On her husband being crowned the sexiest man alive in 2024, Emily joked that she would wallpaper their house with the cover.
On his new crown, the 45-year-old actor is of the opinion that it will earn him more chores at home.
He says, “I think it’s going to make me do more household chores.
“After this comes out, she’ll be like, ‘All right, that means you’re going to really earn it here at home.’”
Fans are however divide on if Kravinski is deserving of this crown though.
For some, they would have preferred the likes of Glen Powell, Jonathan Bailey or Theo James. While others are wondering why it had to be a white man again especially since Patrick Dempsey held the crown in 2023.
