Iyanya is no longer signed to Don Jazzy’s Supreme Mavin Dynasty.

Recall that the rumour started swirling in November 2017 that they called it quits, but neither Don Jazzy nor Iyanya addressed the claims, instead, they played to the gallery, sending each other warm greetings, like Don Jazzy did on Iyanya’s birthday.

Now, Iyanya has confirmed the rumour during an interview with Beat FM on Wednesday. “I’m now signed to Temple Music but I’m a Mavin for life. It was not a beef. I was there and it was time to move on,” he said.

According to Premium Times, Temple Music was launched in August 2017, with 9ice, Bisola Aiyeola, DJ Jimmy Jatt, named among the pioneer artistes.

Iyanya, whose previous split up from Ubi Franklin’s Made Men Music stirred speculations that they were beefing, also talked about his songs and the “dramatic change” in his sound. “I like to try new sounds,” he said, adding that this is because he had been working with different producers and writers.

He continued, “The fan base has grown; I have fans here and abroad. Some people like the new sound but some people are stuck in the old sound. Shout out to Don Jazzy. He influenced my new sound.”
