IWAN and his Gideon Force officially launched his 5th Album titled Gaskiya at his Gaskiya Concert in Accra Newtown over the weekend on Sunday, 25th of September 2016.
The album launch initially set for September 21 at Labadi Beach was rescheduled for New Town on September 25 with a good attendance.
The Concert together with the “Gaskiya” album launch was geared towards promoting peace, love and unity among the youths as this year is an election year.
The Concert saw performances as Dj NatureWon displayed his Dj’ing skills with some inevitable songs which got the crowd sing along as they move their feet. Just before the concert was about to get hotter, the Member of Parliament for Central Ayawaso, Hon. Henry Quartey also climbed the stage and gave his peace message to the youth. Many artists were around to support the Lyrical Gunshot but not all of them were able to perform due to the rain. Basteror, Gariba YaronZamani, Freeme Tapasindi are among the artists who couldn’t climb the stage due to the rain.
The fans were thrilled by performances from IWAN, Ras Kuuku, Rudebwoy Ranking, Awal, Konkorah, Lingua, X Blankson, Miss Freeze, Original Shana, Afreekan, Blouk, Brethren B, Sasco, Sariki and many.
The Gaskiya Album CD’s will be available in some selected shops and supermarkets across the country in the 1st week of October. Enjoy it online for now!
