IMDb spoofed! Funke Akindele’s not in ‘Avengers: Infinity Wars’ as earlier reported

Funke started trending on twitter and many of her fans praised her for the hardwork and consistency she’d put in the industry so far.

However, it has become evident that the actress was never contacted to feature in the movie and her name has been pulled down from IMDb.  According to reports, the stunt was pulled by a ‘hacker’, to make Funke Akindele a viral celebrity sensation.

Avengers: Infinity War is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers.

The movie is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Avengers: Infinity War is intended to be the sequel to 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers and 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and the nineteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
