David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is an American-Nigerian singer, song writer and record producer born on November 21, 1992.

The 28-year-old, son of Adedeji Adeleke (Billionaire business magnate) started making waves in the music industry the year 2011, when he was 19 years. This was same year he started making music. Unlike other musicians whom it takes years to rise to fame in the musical space, Davido had it easy. Some people argue it is because of his father’s wealth.

Nine years in the game, and he keeps releasing hits upon hits. Davido has so many awards to his name including BET Best International Act 2014/2018, and MTV Europe Music Best African Act 2017. No doubt he is one of the successful African musicians the continent has produced.
