I’m focused on doing more commercial music now – Kush Elikem

Kush Elikem De Dancehall Gladiator, based in Ho city, capital of Volta, noted for slewing hardcore dancehall beats instantly picks a new turn and has really gone soft. Different approach for a different purpose.

Quite a number of songs he’s released this year aren’t like previous hardcore cuts he’s known for.

Kicking in the year (2017), he stated in an interview that  his team both home and abroad DottiYard and FalconXGH, respectively, implored he does commercial music and he stuck to that.

This year Kush Elikem released songs like;

1.WE ALL NEED SOMEBODY

2. ESEVEVE
3. SAKPLISASA
4. AKUSHIKA
5. YAAYI

All these songs sound quite commercial with a rather ‘soft’ approach, in terms of vocals and studio works.

“I started music as a dancehall act; and later switched to rap and now back to dancehall. I am versatile so I flow with the energy and drive that comes to me because I am not limited to one genre”, Kush Elikem added.

The Volta-based musician cum Producer hinted a new record is due for release soon, titled “Enter”. He has so much confidence in this work he says should be out anytime soon.

Kush Elikem has rocked most of the big shows in the Volta Region and he is a very known face there, working his way up to mainstream recognition, nationally and globally.
