“I won’t date Simi until she apologizes for saying Nigerian men are not romantic” – Uche Maduagwu

Controversial Nollywood actor and Self-acclaimed Biggest Nollywood actor in Nigeria, Uche Maduagwu has declared that he would never date Simi, not until she apologizes for saying Nigerian men aren’t romantic

Recall in a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, the singer who just released her debut album, Simisola, said Nigerian men are not romantic and think the are entitled to anything.

She said;

“I don’t believe Nigerian men are romantic. I think Nigerian men do not think they have to be romantic. I am not saying this to bash men but I think no one pushes Nigerian men to fight for anything so they have this sense of entitlement.

Now, Uche Maduagwu gtaken to social media to disagree with her, saying that Nigerian men are over-romantic. He then went ahead to say that if Simi doesn’t retract her statement, he would never date her.

He wrote;

I’ll think about dating you if you apologize for saying Nigerian men are not romantic…? @symplysimi That’s wrong, Nigerian men are very #romantic, in short, “over romantic” is worrying some of us…?

He continued;

Honestly, you are one of the most #beautiful female singers in Nigeria, and that’s because you have a very unique sound which i feel makes you stand out, but i am the #biggest actor in Nigeria too, and i will only think about dating you if you apologize to Nigerian #men…
