“Why did you pick the name Juni Hype? Tell me”, King Lagazee asked.
”Well my name ‘Juni’ is an Ethiopian god, where Haile Selassie comes from. I am an African Youth who believes in the African spirit and chooses my paths carefully with a heavy attachment to My African heritage. So that means my name Juni Hype is a ‘brave god’. I am the fresh brave heart and I am the new voice of Dancehall”, Juni Hype explained.
I look up to Aidonia and Mavado. I gravitate towards their vibe and how they keep it mellow with their style. They are a big inspiration.
“BraveHeart” is his debut album listed on the global music stores. The young anger and his Management has been working very hard behind the scenes. It’s a 7-track album with a blend of Dancehall, Reggae and Afrobeats. Born real name Swanzy Annan, he picked the Showbiz name “Juni Hype”.

I got connected with him after he returned from the Europe Tour and Sumfest with his godfather, Stonebwoy; I liked his vibe so I told my Manager I would love to do something with him. Both my Management and his Management worked it out and we entered the studio and boom, “Eduro” got recorded.
Already around town, billboards and other promotional activities are ongoing for the young Singjay by his Management, Ciroma Music.
