Lanre Gentry has denied the domestic violence accusation levelled against him since the photos of the battered face of his wife Mercy Aigbe surfaced.
The drama started yesterday when Aigbe posted a note asking women to “say no to domestic violence” and her husband posted his own note asking followers to “say no to promiscous and irresponsible women”. Shortly afterwards, LIB broke the news that the actress’ marriage has crashed and published the photos of the alleged battering the actress suffered at the hands of her hotelier husband.
But Lanre Gentry is tenaciously denying the claim.
Not long after the news surfaced, he took down his old post and shared the photo of him and his wife. “I love my wife,” he said. Then, in an exchange with a follower, he said he never assaulted his wife.
