#BBNaija’s Uriel is opening up about her rise to fame.

Like everyone else, the reality star had it difficult years back, as she auditioned for the Big Brother reality show several times but failed each time.

Writing on her Instagram, the ex-housemate said:

“I auditioned for Big brother Africa two years in roll bk to bk, got to the finals in SA and they didnt take me!!! I remember crying after being rejected because i was so sure i was getting into the house,” she says today, adding, “plus i borrowed money from my brothers to buy dress and i made a new wig!!”

She continued, saying she felt so much shame, especially because her friends were realising their dreams. “It just wasn’t my time.“

But as luck would have it, the Imo State-born star eventually got into the Big Brother Nigeria house this year, and though she was evicted earlier in the game, she is finally realizing her dreams.

“Gods time is always the best almost gave up i said Big brother Nigeria would be my last bus especially because i auditioned for Big brother Africa two years in roll bk to bk got to the finals in SA and they didnt take me!!! I remember crying after being rejected because i was so sure i was getting into the house? plus i borrowed money from my brothers to buy dress and i made a new wig!! Felt so ashamed like a big loser, watching friends getting married, finding New jobs and then there was me lol The funny dreamer ..oh and when your Uncles ask so what are you doing with your life Uriel?? .erm someone hide me i hated that question ..but i guess it just was’nt my time… 3rd lucky i guess, Keep pushing No problem is to big for God , it took me 8 years plus i still have a long way to go.”
