Success is not easy….
This is just the beginning…
The 23-year-old who is representing Nigeria in the Miss Universe pageant has indeed had a controversial journey.
She started out at the Miss Universe South Africa pageant but withdrew after controversies over her family background surfaced.
Her parents were accused of fraud and identity theft which at the end, the beauty queen dropped out from the event.
Miss Universe Nigeria organizers would later reach out to Chidimma inviting her for the same pageant in Nigeria, which she went on to win.
Immediately she got to Mexico, a South African group launched a petition to stop her from competing in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
This, is in addition to the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa announcing that her and her mother’s South African identity and travel documents would be revoked.
The Miss Universe Nigeria has however, persevered through all these and is set to give her all during the Miss Universe pageant that has its grand finale on November 16.
