The duo of Banky W and Adesua Etomi no doubt that the biggest and most talked about wedding of 2017. The wedding between Banky and Adesua went on for a number of days and across a number of countries for the traditional ceremony, white wedding and thanksgiving. The ceremony has also resulted in a TV documentary series, and of recent, they had an elaborate thanksgiving in London.
However it would be recalled that in a past social media post, Banky W had said he doesn’t like big weddings and this has gotten several comments directed at him, criticizing him about the “size” of his wedding. The singer is still maintaining his stance that he doesn’t like “elaborate” wedding, despite spending millions on his wedding!
Last year, Banky in a rant via snapchat, said he wouldn’t have a large wedding. He wrote; “Small weddings as the besssst… if/when I do get married, no way I’m doing that huge Lagos wedding move. Never.”
In a new rant posted on his Instagram he says: “I have learnt to grow thick skin and almost always ignore the online chatter, but every once in a while, I feel the need to respond. So here are my 2 cents.”
