MOBO award winning singer, Alexander Abolore Adigun aka ‘9ice’ has said he didn’t promise his fans a Grammy Award, but himself, stating that he was only “thinking aloud.”
The singer said this on Sunday while speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin Minds.
In his words:
“I didn’t promise you, i’m promising myself what i want for my life, I’m talking about my story.. I’m saying it to myself. I saying that stuff aloud, speaking aloud.”

The ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner also spoke on his new style of music, stating that Nigerians are no more interested in lyrics but beats, rhythm and melody.
He also clarified certain terms used in his latest hit “Living things” which cause controversies on the internet.
He added that rapper Falz was not referring to him when he said some artistes were praising scammers and fraudsters.
He also revealed that his album “Greatest of All Time” will be released in September.
