Nollywood Actress Bimbo Thomas recently wore a T Shirt that symbolizes Racism against the black people (Confederate Flag) To Liz Da Silva Event, and of course…she didn’t know what the flag symbolizes.

She may have won it out of ignorance, but that did not stop fans from coming after her.

Bimbo wore the T-shirt to the event organized by her colleague Liz Da Silva which was held at Victoria Island Lagos during the weekend.

In the photo she was seen smiling without knowing the message she was passing through her Shirt.

The confederate flag is a symbol or racism. The confederate flag may have started by being a symbol of succession, but it was also the brand to show off white power and black oppression. It is a symbol of a time when white people wanted to keep slavery and not participate with the American belief that all men are created equal.

The photo was posted by Dayo Amusa on her Social media page but she was advised by fans to remove it because the symbol is an abomination to black people.

This is a very big lesson for fashion lovers. Be careful of the symbols on your cloth, ensure you know the meaning before you attempt to wear it . Otherwise you may be wearing the one that may bring you harm.

Imagine if she was wearing that T-Shirt amidst aggressive black folks. Racist carry that flag to tell the blacks that they are nothing.

Earlier in the year, Davido also rocked a jacket with a Confederate flag on its sleeves.

The flag was designed in the 1800s by William Porcher Miles, the mayor of Charleston, South Carolina, who aggressively supported slavery.
