It was reported earlier about the death of Daniel The Third, son of iconic Nigerian singer,

D’Banj. Fans and celebrities who simply can’t swallow the bitter pill have all taken to social media to mourn the death of Daniel who only celebrated his first birthday a month ago.

The likes of actress Tonto Dikeh, music mogul Don Jazzy, D’Banj’s manager, Frank Amudo, singer Aramide, Peter Okoye Cool DJ Jimmy Jat and many others took to their social media pages to express their  condolences, after the news of Daniel was broke out by his father this morning via Instagram.

” I pray for strength for dbanj and his wife family in general during this very difficult

period. God knows best. It is well” Aramide wrote. Don Jazzy wrote, “Just heard the worst

news in a long time.” Dbanj’s manager, Frank Amudo also wrote, “Trying Times Try God. He Is Still Worthy Of All Our Praises.” Adesua Etomi wrote, “In honour of a little beautiful angel, Comforter Dbanj need you.”@Iyanya “God is with you bro

@Dbanj stay strong.” @Dr Sid “May the Lord give you and your family strength my brother.”

 

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known by his stage name D’banj ,

is a Nigerian musician, singer- songwriter, entrepreneur and television

personality. He has won several music awards, including the awards for Best

African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009 ,Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards , and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards , Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music

awards.

 

The toddler reportedly drowned at a pool in the singer’s residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Although the news filtered in on Sunday evening, the singer confirmed the sad

news in the early hours of Monday.

The singer took to his Instagram page to post a black image with the caption: “Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”
