Last year, Akox won the Best Upcoming Artist and the Best Vocalist at the 2015 AAMMA. Winning along side great acts like Vivica Fox, Ramsey Nouah, Desmond Elliot, John Demulo, Awilo Logomba, Pascal Atoma and Tim Omaji.
