Although the main awards are not open to public voting, we get to choose winners in the Favourite Actor and Actress categories as well as a bunch of other TV categories. Voting is underway on http://ghanamovieawards.com/2015-mag-voting/ and so far, many top actors and actress are losing out to relatively young and unknown ones.
A look at the voting results thus far shows that the likes of John Dumelo, Van Vicker and Majid Michel are totally out of the race for Favourite Actor, with Lilwin and Kalybos fighting for the top spot. The race for Favourite Actress is however more competitive with Nana Ama McBrown and Jackie Appiah leading the race. But the likes of Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro and Joselyn Dumas are surprisingly trailing behind Ahuofe Patri.
Queenstar Anarfi also pulls a surprising lead over Ahuofe Patri and Joselyn Dumas for Best Actress in a TV Drama. So will the voting change before Sunday, or will the top stars lose out?
