The Chairman of the Electoral Commission of Ghana, Charlotte Osei has declared the NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo as the winner and president-elect of Ghana following Wednesday’s presidential elections. 

The results excluded 4 constituencies, 3 of which are being contested. Bahama had 44.40% while Nana Addo 53.85 percent

Earlier, President Mahama called Nana Addo to concede defeat. He was the last amongst the six other contestants who competed for the position to concede defeat.

Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, Ivor Greenstreet, Edward Mahama and Jacob Osei Yeboah have already congratulated Nana Akufo-Addo on his victory.

President John Mahama has called Nana Akufo-Addo to congratulate him on his election victory.

Following the president’s call, the Electoral Commission chairperson, Charlotte Osei is expected to announce the winner of the 2016 Presidential Elections.
