Konkarah, one of the staunch conscious Reggae/Dancehall artistes has come out to lambast all artistes involved in Dancehall beefs. He disagrees with all artistes doing diss songs across board.
In an interview with BeenieWords, Konkarah says, “Music is supposed to be a unifying tool. Music is life, music is everything. It doesn’t have to divide us. The musicians have to come together and build a stronger career. I stand for unity and positivity. We tackle issues not by dissing, beefing or throwing tantrums. We solve issues by dialogue. Doing music to fight for the righteousness of the people should be key concern to us as Reggae and Dancehall artistes; defending the truth with powerful lyrics to address societal and global issues and not lyrics targeted at our fellow artistes.”
The baritone voice Singjay jumped on the #SayFiRiddim to elaborate more on the message. You can listen, download and share Konkarah’s message in the song below, produced by CaskeysOnit in Irie Ites Studio.
