American singer, Katy Perry is the World’s highest paid woman in music for the year 2018, according to Forbes.
With playing 80 dates of her fourth concert Witness: The Tour, making over $1 million per night and serving as a judge on ABC’s American Idol reboot, reportedly earning north of $20 million, making a huge total of $83 million pretax.
Katy Perry had appeared on the cover of Forbes in 2015 after earning $135 million in a single year, she knew she had no worries, she said, “I don’t feel like my career is a ticking time bomb, I don’t feel like I’ll always have to be feeding the meter of show business. I got my spot, yo.”
Second on the list is singer Taylor Swift, with the launch of her new album Reputation, which sold two million copies worldwide in its opening week raked in $80 million.
