So is socrate, minister Catherine Afeku and Mr Richard Boateng aware of a massive demonstration both in Accra and kumasi erupting!! 11th July is the day.
Instead speeding up an LI for Film Act (Act 935),so we have the film authority which will deal with some of these pertinent issues we are rather happy traveling to sign up some MOU which will hit the rocks in the near future if the foundation is soft. As we speak movie producers, actresses/actors, ASORG and FIPAG will have issues, and they might address it through attorney General, copyright, parliament and the minister.
You should be asking why the delay in getting the LI to activate the Act which has been assented to since 2016. We should be having some seminars, education and training for the industry players to understand some of these Acts and the shortfalls within the Act so we correct them.
Food and Drugs board now Food and Drugs Authority, Ghana lnvestment Promotion council now Ghana Ghana lnvestment promotion Authority (if my memory serves me right). Some people took bold steps to make it work. What is wrong with the creative Arts industry?.
