The Ghanaian entertainment industry has seen a new horizon in its music sector “a never say die spirit” as the upcoming crooners have shown they are “unshakable” and have come to stay. Some of these stars include Kuami Eugene, Kidi (all of lynx entertainment) and King Promise of Legacy Life Entertainment.

Ghanaians as usual had their odds and adds about them but they have stood the test to struggle and effortlessly get to the apex of their game. The Rockstar, Kuami Eugene especially had his backlashes from one storm to another but never relented.

Kuami Eugene known in real life as Eugene Kwame Marfo, is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter known best for his Angela single.
Kuami Eugene entered the MTN Hitmaker Competition in Ghana in 2016 where he quickly became a huge hit with both the fans and the show’s judges. He went on to finish second-runner up in the season finale and was signed shortly after to the award-winning Ghanaian record label Lynx Entertainment.

He rapidly became one of the fastest rising stars in Ghana in 2017 with the release of hit singles ‘Ebeyeyie’, ‘Hribaba’, ‘Show Dem’ and ‘Boom Bang Bang’ but it was the release of his single ‘Angela’ that he consolidated his place in the Ghanaian music industry.

Kuami Eugene has written and produced for a number of award-winning Ghanaian musicians including  Mzvee, Becca and Adina and featured on hit singles with DJ Vyrusky, Shatta Wale and Ko-Jo Cue.

He has mounted several stages including Sarkodie’s 2017 Rapperholic Concert, Ghana Music Honours 2017 Edition, December to Remember 2017, S Concert 2017, the 61st Ghana Independence Celebration Show at Indigo 02 in London.  Kuami Eugene won the ‘Best New Artiste’ and ‘Best Highlife Artiste’ awards at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards and was also nominated for ‘Best Male Vocalist’, ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ for his hit single ‘Angela’.

The “Angela” crooner has new singles within this couple of months including Confusion and Wish me well which actually made waves all over and warmth the hearts of affable Nigerian artist , IcePrince Zamani, which led to a remix, released few days ago and yes its a banger as the masses are jamming to it. Kuami Eugene is on currently on his tour with record label mate kidi, from Belgium and now London.

The years of idleness and wails unemployment needs to be ended as far as people can stand firm and stride any length with the sky not being a limitation, we are encouraged to identify our talents and potentials, with hard work, prayer and determination, the skies can accommodate all birds who wish to fly.
