These are a couple of shows you can look forward to:

Count down Africa’s freshest trends with The Countdown Season 1 on Mondays at 5:30pm. In each episode we delve into topics from different African countries’ perspectives. Opinionistas give fun commentary on couple goals, African destinations, fashion and more.

Watch out for this Nigerian specific content, Wawu, That’s My Dress Season 1 on Mondays at 7:30pm. A Nigerian boutique is the hotspot for a bride who is looking for the perfect dress for her wedding day. Wawu, that’s my dress is a show that follows all the activity at this Nigerian boutique. Brides and their loved ones swing by the boutique where the sales team is ready to help them find the perfect wedding dress.

The Buzz Season 1 airs Mondays to Thursdays at 6pm. A talk show in which a panel of five women from across the continent, share their opinions and anecdotes on everyday life issues. It is driven by an agony aunt type letter outlining a viewer’s dilemma – be it about romance, health, their hustle or family and friends. The Buzz team will offer their advice and through the course of the episode more details around the viewer’s conundrum is revealed. Will the women on the panel change their opinions as the episode progresses or stick to their guns? To conclude, they vote on the matter. Our audiences engage online with their views and stories.

Salon Battle Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 5:30pm. Welcome to the ultimate beauty competition in which beauty salons will duke it out to show the continent what it takes for beauty technicians to pull of the perfect styles and looks. Streaming cameras are set up in three different hair and nail salons in Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. Stylists and technicians at these different salons must then race against the clock to each complete a look. We cut between the streams until each salon does their big reveal. Will it be a hit or miss? Only the big reveal will tell.

Do you want an intimate view on the continent’s most beautiful weddings! Catch Wedding Insider Season 1 on Tuesdays at 7:30pm. Getting an inside look at the most glamourous, lavish, and over-the-top weddings on the continent. Showcasing three couples special and grand day narrated by a quirky voice over.

Three teams treat one other to a meal in Hoot, Cook, Go Season 1 on Thursday’s 5pm. It’s a chance to show off exactly who they are with a plate of food but they only have an hour. When they hear the hooter, it’s time to get in the car and move on to the next team’s house. How will Africa’s vibrant food culture, particular palates and often curious cultures all go together? The best meal, as judged by the teams, takes the prize.

Pastors’ Wives Season 1 airs on Fridays at 5pm. Pastors are often in the spotlight. But in this show we meet the glamorous women holding it all together in their religious households. We follow them and get to see how lavishly they live, and we get to witness the dramatic situations they may find themselves in when the pastors’ wives get together.

The Next Big Trender Season 1 is looking for Africa’s hottest influencer, to own the title of the next big trender. Six aspiring reality-TV stars from different countries go all out to win the opinionistas over by introducing different facets of their lives in each of the 10 episodes. Three of the continent’s most critical influencers will judge the footage from their studio and score the hopefuls on a leader board. The winner will be a new Honey star! Tune in Fridays 6pm.
