Entertainment Week Africa (EWA) returned to Lagos from November 18 to 23, 2025, delivering six days of pure cultural brilliance and reaffirming its place as the continent’s most dynamic showcase of creativity. This year’s edition lived up to its promise, merging film, fashion, music, technology, and comedy into a seamless celebration of Africa’s thriving creative ecosystem.
With a rich lineup that included film screenings, storytelling sessions, a high-energy music festival, an AI & tech expo, and a vibrant fashion festival, EWA 2025 attracted some of the continent’s most stylish personalities. From the red carpet to the panel stages, stars like Waje, Dabota Lawson, Sophia Momodu, Laura Ikeji, Mariam Adeyemi Timmer, and Darey and Deola Art Alade brought their fashion A-game—and we took notes.
Here are our favourite standout looks from the week:
Waje turned heads in a chic adire print blazer with fringe detailing at the hem. Her sleek pixie cut, paired with a purse and heels, completed an effortlessly modern look.
Deola Art Alade

The founder of Livespot360 and Convener of EWA exuded elegance in a vibrant orange Onalaja dress: bold, refined, and absolutely beautiful.
Frank Edoho

The iconic ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ host kept it clean and casual in a black long-sleeve shirt paired with trousers and white sneakers.
Dabota Lawson

Dabota delivered boardroom-ready glamour while moderating a panel in navy-blue striped trousers and a matching shirt, topped with a white jacket and nude heels.
Darey Art Alade

The EWA Co-Convener looked dapper in a wine-coloured suit styled with a white shirt and white sneakers, a classic look with a contemporary twist.
Sophia Momodu
Sophia kept it chic in a cream two-piece set, elevated with brown shoes and a timeless Birkin bag. Minimalist luxury at its finest.
Idia Aisien

Idia embraced power dressing in a burgundy tailored suit paired with a white shirt, gold purse, and nude heels.
Laura Ikeji-Kanu
Laura delivered structured glamour in a black striped blazer set over a crisp white shirt, finishing the look with a sleek blonde bob.
Mariam Adeyemi Timmer

Mariam’s three-piece black suit set, paired with a white shirt and a structured bag, delivered pure style precision. Her gold-accented heels added just the right amount of sparkle.
Chris Ihidero

Chris Ihidero opted for culturally grounded elegance in a navy-blue senator ensemble, completed with a traditional cap and brown shoes.
Do2dtun

Do2dtun went urban-relaxed in a denim kimono styled with a face cap and glasses.
EWA 2025 was a runway in motion. From bold colours to refined tailoring, these looks captured the spirit of the festival: innovative, expressive, and unapologetically African.
