The list of 10 African artists previously announced as nominees for the 2016 MOBO Awards Best African Act category been shortlisted to the final five. They include Mr Eazi, Moelogo, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Eugy.

The list previously included Kwamz & Flava, Olamide, Tekno Miles, Yemi Alade and Mista Silva.

The 2016 Music of Black Origin Awards come off on 4th November in Glasgow. The presentations of the MOBO Best R&B/Soul, Best Jazz, Best African and Best Gospel Act awards would be made at the MOBO Awards pre-show on October 27 in London.
