Economic Freedom Fighters’ National Spokesperson, Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has been voted the 2017 Most Influential Young South African in one of the most credible and respected annual ranking polls organised by internationally reputed rating establishment, Avance Media.

Dr. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi who takes over from media personality Trevor Noah, (the 2016 Most Influential Young South African) is the National Spokesperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters party. In 2017, he obtained his PhD in Political Sociology at the University of Witwatersrand and as a member of South Africa’s National Assembly, sits on the Portfolio Committees of Telecommunications as well as Communications. He became to be actively engaged in politics, as an activist during his years as a student at Wits University and is also a former member of the African National Congress Youth League.

The poll which drew public participation from over 90 countries also voted Mamelodi Sundowns’ Percy Tau, Model Nomzamo Mbatha, Medical Doctor, Dr Sandile Kubheka, and Musician Cassper Nyovest among the top 5 most influential young South Africans respectively.

Model and Actress Nomzamo Mbatha was also voted as the Most Influential Young South African Woman.

Prince Akpah, MD of Avance Media says he hopes the annual polls will inspire young people to create a positive environment that will encourage other South African youths to excel in their various endeavours.
