Celebrity couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe, professionally known as T.W.O, have warned stars that love showcasing their entire lives on social media to stop complaining when people meddle in their affairs.
The model couple stressed that any celebrity that has fed people with details of their relationships when things were going good and enjoyed the compliments they are getting from fans should not ask fans to mind their businesses when things go sour.
“You’re basing your relationship on validation from people that you don’t even know, that you’ve never even seen before. You’re putting your relationship out there, once you put it out there, people begin to criticise or commend or whatever.
“When you begin to have problems, you find yourself in a situation whereby you don’t wanna say they’re problems anymore, you begin to cover up, then you begin to live a lie. You start to live a lie until you can no longer take it and at the end of the day, you say people should not meddle in your private affairs but you are the one that brought your private affairs and throw it at them. You made sure that you rub their noses in it and now it’s not working out you want your privacy. It doesn’t work that way,” T,W.O said in a chat with Hip Tv.
T.W.O met and began their music career as undergraduates in the 90s. Wunmi Aboderin met Tunde Obe while an undergraduate at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 1998 where she was pursuing a degree in Philosophy. Tunde, an undergraduate of Lagos State University (LASU) was pursuing a degree in History Education.
Wunmi met him when she officially joined the UNILAG band; Turning Point in which Tunde was already lead singer. They have been married for about two decades now.
