These cries have risen from the different parts of the country where Nigerians are saying enough is enough, as they demand that the squad which was founded to put an end to robbery but seems to have gone rogue, be scrapped.
Thousands of Nigerians, Including celebs have been sharing their tales of woe and unsavory experiences with SARS officers.
Falz, Ycee, Olamide, Simi and many more celebs all spoke on the trending issue yesterday.
Don Jazzy is the latest celeb to join in on the campaign.
The revered producer wrote; “Over 100,000 tweets from concerned Nigerians. The people don’t feel protected. If we cannot FixSARS then #EndSARS.”

Although this is not the first time there will be a public outcry against the activities of SARS, an alleged shooting of an individual in Yaba, Lagos, has again put the matter on the front burner.
Using the hashtag #EndSARS, Nigerians have been calling on the federal government to scrap the police unit.
A petition on scrapping SARS has been addressed to the national assembly.
Published by ‘Segun Awosanya, the petition has been signed by 10,195 people at the time of this report.
While the signatures on the petition keep surging, Nigerians on social media have continued to demand an end to SARS.
