Ghana’s popular DJ, Int’l DJ X has been nominated again in three (3) Categories – Best HipLife DJ, Best Mixtape DJ and Best Western Regional DJ in the 6th Edition of the Ghana DJ Awards 2018 slated to take place on Friday, 5th May 2018 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The reigning Multiple Award Wining DJ who has been crowned in two consecutive years as Best Mixtape DJ in 2016 and 2017 with Dumsorlogy Mixtape & I am Mixtape in the 4th & 5th Edition of the Ghana DJ Awards stands taller among his fellow contestants in this Years Edition with his Recognize Mixtape Vol 1.

Aside Djing Int’l DJ X who is known in real life as Manuel Amoako Atta is also a Blogger, Music Promoter and host of MidMorning Show & Showbizz on Royal 89.3Fm in Asankrangwa in the Western region of Ghana.

He is poised to surprise many and win extra awards in this year’s edition of the Ghana DJ Awards.

The Recognize Mixtape Vol. 1. ( /ˈrɛkəɡnʌɪz/ ) which featured various genres of music is a 45-minute tape was one of the Best trending Mixtapes in Africa.

The question is Can DJ X retain his Crown again as Best Mixtape DJ 2018 and achieve a winning streak or win any of the remaining  two (2) categories he has been nominated in?

The 32-track mixtape is a combination of local and international hit singles from several genres.

The mixtape features  songs like Enya Adwo from Nana Acheampong, Needed Me by Rihanna, Taking Over From Shatta Wale, Gboza by Sarkodie, Feel Good Geege by FlowKing Stone, Sponsor by Ebony and many others.

The mixtape is available for free downloads and streaming on a number of online music platforms.

The Man with the Magical Fingers told Graphic Showbiz that the songs on the mixtape were selected based on appeal and rhythm and is also to the delight of his fans.

“My goal is to make the mixtape appealing to every single music lover and this explains why the songs span from different generations, genres and countries,” he told Showbiz.
