A fast-rising designer, the CEO of Phoonmy Afrika, Funmi Akin-Ajayi, has accused actress Mercy Aigbe of not promoting her work as they had agreed.
According to Funmi, she spoke with Aigbe through another actress and they agreed that Aigbe would sample one of her shirts and give credits on social media.
The designer sent the outfit and Aigbe showed off the photo on her Instagram page without giving due credits to her.
Funmi tells SDK;
“I sent her messages on Instagram asking her to do as agreed and she apologised saying that she’ll fix it,”
“Today, she blocked me on Instagram, deleted our messages and then gave the credit to another fashion designer.”
“She mentioned the skirt designer but didn’t mention mine. This Top … she didn’t pay a dime for it,”
“I contacted our link and she told me Mercy said that she could return the shirt. I asked her to return it sharp sharp and she said she’s not even returning again that I should do my worst!”
Upset, the designer’s fans called out the actress on her Instagram and in response, Aigbe allegedly deleted their comments and blocked them from accessing her page, but that’s not before Funmi made screenshots of some of the comments.
