Nigerian music sensation, Darey is showing us the joys of fatherhood and serving us real Daddy goals in episode 2 of his new web-series, “Way Home”.
While a lot of us would have loved more time with our fathers growing up, Darey is setting an example by creating time to bond with his family, despite his very busy schedule. For him, hearing his kids call him “Daddy” gives him a sense of responsibility which he must live up to.
“A lot of my inspiration comes from being a father. I’m still in awe [of him]”, says Darey. The talented singer and entrepreneur reveals how his children mean the world to him, and how this incites an unmistakable impulse in him to do anything to make them happy.
Regardless of his calendar, he reveals he ensures his kids get their “Daddy time”. He does this by joining them in activities like exercising, baking, sports, games, banter time and lots more. For him, doing this with his kids helps him to be a part of their lives and also remain responsible to them.
We definitely love to see this side of him, as he confirms that fatherhood keeps him on his toes always, as he cannot afford to let his kids down. Darey shares this and many more in his new web series.
