It’s another milestone in the life of celebrated reggae/dancehall superstar, Shatta Wale’s career as he received a major international award over the weekend at tthe University of Chicago in Illinois, USA. International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) honoured him for his contributions to reggae/dancehall at the global level predominantly his homeland, Ghana.
The Shatta Movement boss cum Zylofon Media signee took to stage to say a thanksgiving speech and showing gratitude to the organizers of the awards scheme plus his fans across the world. He ceased the moment to throw more light and vision on his newly signed record label; “there is something happening in Africa which is Zylofon miracle.
I have been signed to a record label that is trying to help African artists and we are trying to reach out to the world through African culture” he added. He also edged everybody to support the dream of Zylofon media, a sister company to Menz Gold. He also presented a gold coin by courtesy of Menz Gold to the organizers of IRAWMA as way of supporting them.
