Caroline Sampson is quitting YFM to join Joy FM. According to an insider, the move is almost complete and Caroline will join the Multimedia Group soon.

It is not yet clear which show she will be hosting but sources say she will assist Lexis Bill on the Joy FM Drive Time show in the beginning, as well as steer affairs on the station’s Saturday entertainment show, Showbiz A-Z.

When I asked Caroline about the news, she didn’t confirm or deny it but only used emojis to reply me. So I guess it is  signed sealed and delivered..haha.

Caroline Sampson started her journey within the media in 2005 with an appearance on the 3rd edition of the popular reality television pageant Miss Malaika as a contestant. She ended as a finalist and used the opportunity to propel a career. She used the platform shrewdly and became the only contestant to have the opportunity to work with Atlantis Radio, one of the top radio stations in Accra, hosting Continuous Drive and Mellow Cruise.

Her professional on- screen debut was for the national broadcaster, GTV, on the U-Win Game Show. She then moved to TV3, a private free-to-air channel, presenting an entertainment programme called Hitz Video. For her next endeavor, Caroline joined a formidable and well- respected full spectrum radio station, Citi 97.3 FM, hosting the daily programme Room 973, and two other shows on the station, Rhythms in the Citi & Citi Countdown.

After two years at Citi 97.3fm, Caroline joined Yfm and E’TV Ghana. She has hosted programmes like Room Service and E on E (Entertainment on E’Tv) on Yfm and E’Tv respectively. She also hosted the after drive show, Y lounge and currently hosting the lunch time show Shouts On Y. In June 2011 Caroline co- hosted the hit reality TV show, Malta Guinness Street Dance, shot in Accra and Lagos and aired on at least five TV stations in Ghana.
