Amid work on his forthcoming album ‘Rugged & Deadly,’ recording artiste Bramma continues to see an upswing in his career as the yuletide season approaches. The latest surge comes courtesy of the collaborative effort ‘Bruk Life Don’t Fit We’ with U.K based artiste Dertee. Released earlier this year the single has officially broken the one million mark on Youtube, a first and a major accomplishment for the Jamaican entertainer.
An elated Bramma says, “The news was revealed to me by my management and I am very pleased with the revelation. However, what is significant about this milestone is it provides evidence that my new approach to the music business is working and secondly, that my fan base is steadily growing, for that I am thankful.”
Despite no set date for the ten-track analects, Bramma and his management are still forecasting an end of the year release. With the Heroes Day weekend festivities now behind him, the ‘Cha Cha Bwoy’ hit-maker is back in the studio finalising the compilation. Executively produced by Riddim Force Records, the lead single ‘Belly Of The Beast’ released digitally on October 21 by VPal Music will see the accompaniment of a music video in the weeks ahead.
In a recent interview with the media, Bramma stated that “I am excited for my fans to hear this side of me because they will get to hear me addressing a lot of topics I generally don’t sing about like relationship, life struggles, heartache and some personal challenges.”
Featuring Luciano, Anthony B, Morgan Heritage, I-Octane, Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor and Zagga. The album boasts a stellar production team with contributions from Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor, Emanuel ‘German’ Schirmer, DJ Nicco, DJ Smurf, TouchPoint and Bramma’s GGOD Records.
Come November, Bramma is expected to depart the island to commence a promotional stint for the album.
