Black Girls Winning! Viola Davis Gets Her Own Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Black women all over the world are finally getting the attention they deserve and we couldn’t be prouder.

Kicking off 2017 on a positive note, ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ actress, Viola Davis just got honoured with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 51-year-old Emmy Award-winning actress was present with the star by her ‘Doubt‘ co-star, Meryl Streep.

Viola who was accompanied by her husband, Julius Tennon and 5-year-old daughter, Genesis looked spectacular in a white midi dress and black pumps for the event.

It was a very emotional moment for her as she took to the podium to speak on the honour. “I cannot believe my life right now, that Meryl Streep spoke at my Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony, with my handsome husband, and a beautiful daughter, and my family, and my representatives…it’s like my life flashing before my eyes, and all I can say is God has blessed my life in abundance,” she said.

Well deserved!
