Bisa Kdei successfully launches “Highlife Konnect” Album in African Traditional vogue

Who said “high-life” music is dead? Listen to the 15 track listed songs on Bisa K’dei’s “High-life Konnect Album” and tell me when high-life music died!!! With the existence of such a power packed album like “High-life Konnect” its about time to stamp out the notion; high-life music is dead!!! Considerably, Ghanaians particularly those who fall under the media sphere and desirous music lovers should be necessitated to show maximum respect and appreciation to Bisa K’dei by way of making it a driving force to help contribute to the success of this amazing leviathan album.  Because, though it seemed high-life music was dying off by  presence of new trends of music, he took mantle into the future by taking every doubt as a challenge and finding solutions to solve it in his own way.

Leading-edge high-lifer Bisa K’dei in company with his management team have officially set in motion “High-life Konnect” album on 21/4/2018 at Level 8 lounge. The launch was motley graced by persons of influence from walks of media, music, music lovers etc; Rex Omar, Kofi Laing, Ameyaw Debrah, Fiifi Adinkra, Nana Baafuor Kyeremanteng, Kumi Guitar, Akwaboah, et al. Each person was dressed in classic African wear as the invitation suggested. The album is focused on re-inventing the genre with a touch of modern style, educating, selling and far reaching to connect with top notch artists from Africa as well as tapping into their fan-base. On top of that breaking every terminal. As developed as he is as an artist, he needed to tap into the fan-base of other established acts from other countries to grow, sell, market his brand and reach out to a larger market.  In my previous article about the track list on the album, i made mention of the acts from African diaspora featured on such as Mayorkun, Stanley Enow, Patoranking, etc plus some of our local acts; Sarkodie, Kumi Guitar and Akwaboah. The compelling thing about the album is, Bisa co-produced some of the songs alongside Mix Master Garzy, Julz, OT Wood and CJ.
