Besides launching the Rolex, the State Minister for Tourism Hon. Kiwanda Geoffrey has more other tactics to use promoting tourism in Uganda both local and foreign. Among them is selecting renowned celebrities to be the brand Ambassadors of Tourism in Uganda.
The BET award winner has been named brand ambassador of Tourism in Uganda at a good time when the Tulambule Weekend Escape campaign is yet to start in Mbarara town, this weekend.
Eddy Kenzo thanked the Minister of Tourism and said he is ready to work with the ministry to see that not only foreigners but also Ugandans love and tour their country. “Uganda, let’s love and promote our own, it all starts with us no body has to tell our stories, we’ve got this”.
Eddy Kenzo promised to be around in the Mbarara Tourism Week which will start on 23rd September with Tulambule Mbarara Weekend Escape ending on the World Tourism Day on Sept 27th in a Tourism Expo.
