Winner of Big Brother Naija 2017, Efe Ejeba simply known as Efe in a recent interview with Soundcity 98.5 FM disclosed that the only reason he went to school was because of the sense of obligation attached to it, and all he ever wanted to do was music.

When asked about his expectations going into the Big Brother house, he insisted that he never expected much as he went into the house as an underdog and a lot of the other housemates were in better standing than him.

Read excerpts below:

This is reality, live after the show, What is the most important on your priority list, is it Music? Is it perhaps having your own TV show?

“Na Music, no need to stress yourself, Music on a priority list.”

Why?

“Because that’s what i was doing before the house, and i’ve been doing it for the past seven years, I was doing it because that’s what i love to do. I went to school because it was obligatory. There’s a societal obligation that you need to go to school, but that was not what was on my mind, Music has been on my mind. So i did it throughout my school, From my 100 level to my 400 level.  I finished in 2015 and went to serve. I came to Lagos immediately after my final exam, i didn’t even wait for my call up, so i came and spent about 6 months.”

Where in Lagos do you stay?

“I ‘STAY’ in bariga, i don’t want to say ‘stayed’ because, base on logistics, my things still dey there, but i no fit go back there based on street level. I no know how i wan take reach there now. But yeah, i stayed in bariga when i came  and since then, i’ve been in bariga.

When appplying for Big Brother, where you convinced you were doing the right thing? Where you a little nervous, what were your thoughts

“I went there as an underdog given who i am and my person, i was just an upcoming artiste who was broke, now i got 25 million mehn, allow me to brag a little bit, [younamsaying], Is it my fault say i get 25 million? Is it no Nigeria and the Team Efe and EfeNation that voted and every mother that was praying, Is not my fault, you want to blame me? blame them”

When he was asked about his stand on the Tboss/Kemen issue, he maneuvered and avoided the question.
