Big Brother Naija kicked off with much excitement as we finally got to meet the housemates and see the BBNaija house. The official theme for Season 5 is ‘Lockdown’ and we can all guess correctly why that theme was chosen. The housemates were all quarantined for two weeks before the start of the season so they are ready to go.
We can’t help but gush over the BBNaija house because it is absolutely stunning. Entering the house you come face to face with a kaleidoscope of colours that is the all-seeing eye of Big Brother.
The living room and dining space decor are done with hues of blue and yellow all blending nicely to give off a homey feel. The red brick walls are designed artfully with colourful graffiti. And the kitchen is a beautiful white space.
We see the entrance to the diary room graced with a majestic chair which we can only assume will be something for the Head of House (HoH) to use. This year is even more special because the Head of House gets special benefits like their own lounge and bedroom.
Another new addition to the house is a salon. Yes, a salon where the housemates can groom themselves and style their hair. Pretty sweet huh?
The bedroom is painted in tones of grey, blue and yellow and looks really comfortable.
We cannot forget to talk about the outdoor lounge. There is a huge graffiti wall that we can already tell will be the backdrop for many pictures. The lounge looks stunning complete with a large jacuzzi tub and colourful potted plants adorning the walls.
Overall the BBNaija house is looking really great and now that the 20 housemates are in, we can’t wait to see all the drama and fun that is going to take place for the 10 weeks, seeing as there are so many juicy surprises in store for the housemates.
