Controversial international rap star, Azealia Banks like the rest of the word, is falling in love with Nigerian music. She recently took to her Insta Stories asking her fans to recommend some Nigerian songs to her, while announcing that she loves Tiwa Savage.
But just like Azaelia, she was quick to digress from the topic she started off with. What started as her appreciating Naija music went on to become a rant about Nigerian deities and their children.
According to her Tiwa gives her “child of Yemaya vibes” but she’s probably a child of “Chango” and “Oshun”.
She also warned her followers never to lend money to a daughter of Oshun because they won’t get it back.
She concluded her post by stating that seeing an African female popstar gives her a different kind of confident powerful vibe.
Tiwa Savage hasn’t commented on it or acknowledged it but Azealia makes us wonder whether it’s PR or just plain trolling.
