Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle also joined the “Ghana + Peace” campaign by Veteran Ghanaian Singer, Obiba Sly Collins.
The Catholic Bishop who also threw his support for Sly Collins’ “Ghana + Peace” Campaign says, “having visited Rwanda and witnessed the remains of the Rwandan genocide of 1994, no matter what happens we must all work for peace”.
Archbishop Charles Palmer-Buckle also said that indeed everyone has an interest contrary to that of another person but yet still he believes no one would like to be in a country of chaos and violence. He applauded the Ghana + Peace Campaign for carrying on with the peace campaign through to its main event to be held at the Efua Sutherland Park on #19thNovember and also for the fact that it is open to the general public. This he believes is an appeal to the general public on the need to promote peace in the country before, during and after the elections.
