It proved a really difficult task putting together a Best and Worst Dressed List from last night’s Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards because in all honesty, everyone (well, almost) brought their A-game.

But there were a few who truly stood apart from the throngs of glamorously dressed celebrities who attended the event; and they looked so good, they just had to make it to our Best Dressed List.

Check them out below.

Ini Dima-Okojie

The Skinny Girl In Transit actress looked breathtakingly gorgeous in a lilac ball gown from Fablane by Derin.

Her hair was coiffed into a perfect updo and her makeup kept clean and dress to allow all attention on the beautiful dress.

She accessorised with a pair of dangling statement earrings and an ultra-chic purse.

What’s not to love?!

Adesua Etomi

Adesua Etomi

Adesua might have lost out on her one nomination at this year’s edition of the AMVCA, but she was an absolute winner in this lovely dress by Mai Atafo.

She paired the floral number which features cut-outs at the back with a gold clutch drop earrings while her hair was swept away from her face to show off her smoked out eyes and glossy lips. We love the subtle sexiness of the entire look.

Nana Akua Adoo

Nana Akua Addo

Talk about a dress with a WOW effect!

Ghanaian actress Nana was given us Cinderella vibes in this Almodal Haute Couture dress and we loved every bit of it!

Kehinde Bankole

Everything about Kehinde’s look screamed class. She chose a simple but absolutely beautiful dress by London-based designer, Jacqui James and let it do all the talking by opting for minimal accessories and a fresh beauty look.

This goes to show that, sometimes, less is more.

Ihuoma Linda Ejiofor

Linda Ejiofor

Linda was elegance personified in a beautiful purple dress by Samuel Noon paired with a pink clutch and a couple of simple bangles.

Love the way it hugged her curves. And that cutout at the back? Sexy!

Toni Tones

It took the designer, Yemi Shoyemi about 4 months to make the ball gown Toni wore to the awards ceremony and those 4 months did pay off.

Toni looked like a real life Disney princess in the beautiful purple gown.

Eku Edewor

Eku made her red carpet debut since the birth of her baby girl last night and she did it in style.

Eku Edewor

She opted for an off-white jumpsuit by Style Temple. The piece which featured an elaborate train is a very tricky outfit and not one a lot of people can pull off but like a true fashionista, Eku took the risk and absolutely made it work – umbrella and all.

Dorcas Shola Fapson

DSF came all covered up and elegant in a black dress by Jahdara.

Can’t fault this look!

Toyin Abraham

Last year, Toyin surprised us – pleasantly – with her choice of outfit for the AMVCAs and we prayed and hoped it wasn’t a one off thing and thankfully it wasn’t.

She turned up last night looking absolutely gorgeous in a ball gown by 2207. She looked so good we’re willing to forgive and overlook the discomfort going on around her bust.

Somkele Idhalama

Somkele in Andrea Iyamah is one of our favourite looks from last night for obvious reasons. That dress gave us life! The unique cut, the thigh-high slit and everything about it was on point and her big fro, her manicure and beauty look were in sync.

Beverly Naya

Beverly went for a custom-made black dress by Weiz Dhurm Franklyn, slicking her hair into a low bun and accessorising with a pair of drop earrings.

A look and a half!

Osas Ajibade

Osas is officially back!

Remember when we said, we hoped she gets her mojo back in time for the big awards? Looks like she got it and then some more. She looked ah!mazing in tricoloured piece by Wana Sambo.

Sharon Ooja

Sharon Ooja went for a gold dress by 7th Avenue. One word? Exquisite.
